Virgo & Pisces: Dancing the Sacred Labyrinth

We gathered at the Anglican Church Labyrinth to explore the interplay between Virgo and Pisces—energies that merge precision with mysticism, structure with fluidity. In this sacred space, we set out to combine the labyrinth’s intricate pathways with Virgo’s drive for purification and perfection, and Pisces’ transcendent, mystical experience, deeply resonant with its Christian heritage in the Pisces era.

We began by focusing on Virgo’s essence: a call for purification, discernment, and a purpose beyond the ego. Rooted in mutable earth and ruled by Mercury, Virgo teaches us to analyze our actions, ensuring that every movement contributes to the greater good. We practiced the main leg and arm positions from classical ballet—each posture reflecting sacred geometry and the precise alignment of our gut-based nerves, liver, pancreas, small intestine, and bile ducts. In Virgo, we learn to separate the pure from the impure, acknowledging that true transformation begins with complete acceptance of who we are here and now.

Next, we moved into an adagio promenade—a challenging, geometric exercise that tested our ability to maintain perfect angles and form. This movement sequence embodied Virgo’s need for structure and its commitment to a higher purpose. Each step was deliberate, each angle measured, as we navigated the labyrinth with clear intent.

Although we did not have time for an individual Pisces exercise, we integrated its mystical energy during our closing sequence. After positioning ourselves at different points throughout the labyrinth, we reconvened for a circular dance—a collective flow that channels Pisces’ expansive, boundary-dissolving energy. We moved with contemporary gestures: eyes lifted in prayer, hands pressed in supplication, and chests open to the sky. In that circle, we experienced a shared mystical connection, reminiscent of Pisces’ deep, oceanic awareness and its call to return to the Source.

Finally, we gathered at the center rose of the labyrinth, our heads close together as we gazed at the stars. In a third-eye visualization, we merged Virgo’s clarity with Pisces’ transcendent mystery—an affirmation that our journey of transformation is both personal and collective.
